The record of the Texas House in the 82nd Legislature is one of missed opportunities.  While a Republican supermajority was elected, it fell far short of a conservative majority.  While some good conservative legislation passed, much more failed to pass or even come out of committee.  

Our Representatives should have represented our conservative mandate better.

In the 2010, I promised that “win or lose” I would continue to work for the people of Texas.  I have kept my promise.  I have worked as a member of the Clear Lake Area Republicans.  I am on the Executive Board of the Clear Lake Tea Party.  I have helped organized town halls, placed poll watchers for Republican Candidates in Galveston County, lobbied numerous elected officials at the State and Federal levels, and organized and participated in the weekly CLTP Citizen Watchdog trips to Austin during the 82nd Texas Legislature.

In all these activities, my eyes have been truly opened to the soft-corruption of power and special interests that is Austin. While I knew that the State House needed cleaning up when I first ran, I was absolutely shocked at the arrogance displayed by many of the legislators I met in the Texas Capital.  Therefore, I have decided to run as a Republican Candidate for the Texas House of Representatives District 129.  

I will be running as a more experienced, informed, and wiser candidate.  I will stand up to leadership if I think they are standing up for special interests rather than for Texans.  I will introduce bills to repeal legislation that sells Texas roads to foreign Countries for 50 to 100 years at a time.  And I will work to see that the Texas Budget is truly balanced without accounting tricks, gimmicks, and misrepresentations.

If you will give me your trust and send me to the Texas Legislature, I will faithfully represent the citizens of House District 129 and the State of Texas.  I will seek out your voice and carry it through the halls of the Capital right down to the House floor.  If elected, I will serve with honor and integrity.  I want to make you proud of your Representative!
