There are many issues facing Texas in these difficult times. Texans still face a dire economic outlook, due to continuing recession and the actions of the 82nd Texas Legislature. Americans, including conservative Texans, are begging elected officials to stop spending and focus on creating the right climate for creating jobs. Our State is also facing a veritable onslaught of Federal mandates with respect to Medicaid and education to name just two. If you will entrust me as your Representative, my immediate legislative priorities will focus on the following issues:
These are issues that are important to the future of Texas and the people of District 129. However, they are not the only issues, problems, and concerns that people have with regards to the State Legislature. Therefore, I would like to hear from the folks I hope to represent as what other matters they would like to see addressed during the campaign and in the 83rd Texas Legislature.
Finally, Texas must be strong, principled, and responsible to endure the unrest that is gathering at our nation’s doorstep. From the progressive onslaught of the federal government to Occupy Wall Street, I will help hold the line in Texas. As a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives, I invite all concerned fellow citizens to review my positions and engage in the discussion regarding the future of Texas.
