Candidate Mary Huls files for Texas Representative, District 129

Harris County, Texas 12/15/2011 -- Mary Huls of Friendswood, Texas officially
filed her candidacy for Texas House of Representatives on December 15,
2011.

Huls is a Tea Party endorsed candidate and grassroots activists who has been a
voice of the people in District 129 which is currently held by Rep. John Davis, who
has recently been rated by Texas Eagle Forum with a score of 32% Conservative rating for his
legislative work in ECONOMIC & SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. Texas Eagle Forum (TEF) released its ratings on 8.2.11.
TEF rated each Senator’s and each House Representative’s performance from 1 to 100 percent
with the higher numbers indicating strong conservative positions.  Anything less than a 70% rating
is not considered conservative.

Huls stated that as jobs and economy are the primary issue for all of District 129, the incumbant
has not been a voice of the people and has not acted upon the conservative values
and principles that would bring job growth and prosperity to the working class.

Huls is a Constitutional conservative and believes that cronyism in Austin is not serving
the people of her district. Huls has been a citizen lobbyist for the Clear Lake Tea Party
and her bid is fully endorsed.

Huls also believes that the incumbant failed the conservative agenda in the most recent session
by claiming a balanced budget in Texas while using gimmicks and tricks placing a burden on Texans
with a planned shortfall early into 2013.
